What we do

We open the controller, remove the worn stick module and fit a TMR magnetic module that has no carbon track to wear out. The stick is calibrated in the console settings and checked for centre and full range. Select left, right or both on the page and we repair the sides you choose.

Questions about this fix

Should I do both sides at once?−

If only one side drifts you can do just that side. If both have seen the same use, doing both saves a second visit.

Why TMR rather than the original type?+

The original modules use a carbon track that wears. TMR modules read a magnet, so there is no track to wear down and drift again.

Do I need an appointment to drop off?+

No. The Kings Cross workshop at Unit 2, 56 Tavistock Pl, London WC1H 9RG is open 24 hours, every day. Booking online just means the parts are ready when you arrive, and you pay after the fix.

How does posting it in work?+

Book and pay online. We email you a free prepaid DPD label within 24 hours; pack the device with your booking number inside and drop it at any DPD point. We fix it, test it and post it back free, tracked.

What if it cannot be fixed?+

No Fix No Fee. If we cannot fix the fault you booked, you do not pay for the repair. Posted-in devices are returned to you.
