Privacy Policy

• Enquiries, quotes and bookings — your name, phone number, email address, the device and problem you describe, preferred visit or collection details, and any notes you add.
• Repairs and sales — details of the device you leave with us (make, model, serial number, passcode if you choose to give it so we can test the repair), the work carried out, and payment and invoice details. If you reserve a laptop or PC through the site, your order details and delivery/collection preference.
• Enquiry source — how you first reached the site (for example a Google search, an advertising click reference such as a Google Click ID, or the website that referred you), so we know which channel an enquiry came from. See our Cookie Policy.
• Technical data — server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, date and time) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
• Analytics and advertising data — only with your consent via the cookie banner: aggregated usage statistics and ad-conversion measurement (see Cookie Policy).

• To answer your enquiry, give you a quote, and carry out and account for repairs, sales and reservations — performance of a contract / steps you ask us to take before a contract.
• To contact you about your device or order (call, SMS, WhatsApp or email), keep repair records and handle warranty claims — contract and legitimate interests.
• To keep records for tax and accounting — legal obligation.
• To understand which of our channels enquiries come from and to keep the website secure — legitimate interests.
• To measure advertising and website usage with cookies — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via “Cookie preferences” in the footer.

We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked for them.

When you leave a device with us we may need to access it to diagnose or repair it, and data recovery work necessarily involves handling the data on the drive. We only access what is needed for the job, we do not copy or keep your files beyond the repair (recovered data is handed to you and our working copies are deleted), and we recommend you back up your device before any repair where possible.

• Service providers acting on our instructions — our website host (SiteGround), our email provider, our repair-workshop and marketing partners who help us handle enquiries and bookings, parts suppliers and couriers where a repair or delivery requires it, and our accountants. They may only use your data to provide the service to us.
• Google — advertising and analytics measurement, only with your consent (see Cookie Policy). If you enquire after clicking one of our Google ads, we may pass a hashed (unreadable) version of the email address or phone number you gave us to Google Ads so it can match the enquiry to the ad click (“enhanced conversions”); Google cannot use this to contact you.
• Authorities — where the law requires it.

Some providers (for example Google) process data outside the UK; where they do, transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, UK adequacy regulations or equivalent safeguards.

Enquiries that do not become a job: up to 12 months. Repair, sales and reservation records: 6 years after the transaction (tax and warranty). Server logs: typically 30 days. Consent and analytics data: as set out in the Cookie Policy.

You can ask us to: give you a copy of your data; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to how we use it; and, where we rely on consent, withdraw that consent. You also have the right to data portability where we process data by automated means under a contract or consent.
