Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) do comparable jobs. We group ours into the categories below, matching the choices in our cookie banner.

These keep the site working and are always on:

• Basket & reservations — WooCommerce session cookies (e.g. wp_woocommerce_session_*, woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart) remember what is in your basket while you browse laptops, pre-built PCs or a custom PC build. They expire when your session ends.
• Your cookie choice — your consent preference is stored in your browser (local storage key fin_consent_v1) so we do not ask on every visit. It stays until you clear your browser data.
• Enquiry handling — when you send us a quote, booking or contact request, a short-lived first-party cookie (fn_conv, 5 minutes) confirms the form was submitted, and a first-party cookie (fn_attr, 90 days) records how you first reached the site (for example a Google search, an ad click reference, or a referring website) so we can tell which of our channels an enquiry came from and respond appropriately. These cookies are set by us, contain no third-party identifiers beyond the ad-click reference, and are not used to profile you.

With your consent, the Google tag (loaded via Google Tag Manager) sets cookies such as _gcl_* that let us measure whether a Google ad brought you to the site and whether it led to an enquiry, booking or reservation. Without your consent these cookies are not set and measurement runs in a cookieless, aggregated mode (Google Consent Mode). See how Google uses cookies.

If analytics cookies are enabled (for example Google Analytics _ga, _ga_*) they are set only with your consent, and only to understand which pages people use and which need fixing. Data is aggregated and not used to identify you.

Some pages embed YouTube videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com); YouTube only sets cookies once you press play. Maps and links to Google Reviews open Google services governed by Google’s own policies.

Choose or change your preferences any time via “Cookie preferences” in the site footer. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — see allaboutcookies.org for how. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the basket, checkout and forms working.
